What is clean room?

A "clean room" typically refers to a controlled environment in that the concentration of airborne particles, such as dust, microbes, fungies and other contaminants, is kept to a minimum. Clean rooms are designed and maintained to provide a highly controlled and sterile space for various purposes, including scientific research, manufacturing, and technology development. Clean rooms are indispensable in industries and applications where even tiny particles or pollutants can negatively impact the quality of products or research results.

Clean room validation is a crucial process. To ensure that a clean room consistently meets the required standards, it's imperative to employ the right tools and equipment, such as a PAO photometer, a particle counter and balometer etc.. These tools play a pivotal role in assessing and managing the cleanliness and air quality of the controlled environment. In Oprotec we fully test the system before IQ (installation qualification) and OQ operational qualification before notified body.
